Study cost in Malaysia
Part-time job
International students are NOT permitted to work as cashiers. In addition, in the hotel sector, international students are NOT allowed to work as singers, masseurs, musicians or GROs (Guest Relation Officers). International students are not allowed to engage in any job or activity deemed to be immoral.
Applications to work part time must be made through the educational institution at which the international students are enrolled. The international student needs to be present with the representative of the education institution at the Immigration Department of Malaysia in order to submit an application for part time work.
Languages in Malaysia
Though there’re several languages in Malaysia the courses are usually taught in English. If your native language is English you won’t need to submit any language course certificate. But if your native language isn’t English you must have to show your proficiency in English whether you’ve skill of receiving the lecture provided in English.

The Government of Malaysia also declare scholarships and funds for international students. One of them is known as Malaysian CSFP (Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan).
In order to get scholarship student must have to meet the determined eligibility requirements. If you can achieve a scholarship you’ll be able to save your study, living and accommodation cost.

Visa Requirements
The Malaysian government has made the process of the application of student visa and pass easily for anyone who wants to study in the country, as students do not have to contact their local Embassy of Malaysia no more.
It is compulsory for every student entering Malaysia to have medical insurance. You will be insured from the date you enter Malaysia if you inform your institution of the date as soon as you arrive. All international students must be covered by a locally purchased medical health insurance scheme. An international student, through his/her educational institution, can opt to purchase Medical Insurance.
To ensure that you have a clean bill of health, you will be required to undergo a medical screening upon arrival in Malaysia (post-arrival) at one of Education Malaysia Global Services’ registered panel clinics or health centres. Effective 01 June 2019, pre-arrival medical screening is no longer required. However, Students are required to submit a health declaration form for the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) application. If in doubt of anything required in the declaration form, please obtain consultation from your local doctor. Please note that making a false declaration, including in the health declaration form, is an offence under the Laws of Malaysia. Doing so may result in prosecution and deportation i.e. removal from Malaysia.
